I think to ask the question “What’s wrong with Sidney?” is to answer it. He must be injured in some way. His performance didn’t drop off so much because he wanted it less, or lost his timing. The rest of the NHL treats him with something that borders on contempt, bash him at every turn, that’s going to take a toll.
Leave it to the NHL to tilt its rules towards Brandon Dubinsky over Sidney.
